Attendees heard from some of our Jewish rising stars in the Disability Training & Speakers Bureau and got their free copy of RespectAbility’s new Jewish Disability Inclusion Toolkit.

Erika Abbott kicked things off with a poem that beautifully conveys the message and theme of Jewish Disability Awareness and Inclusion Month (JDAIM). Justin Borses, Ava Rigelhaupt, and Aaron Seglin shared their personal experiences with disabilities and how Judaism has impacted their lives and their different methods of entertainment. At the end of this great presentation, Matan Koch, Vice President for Workforce, Leadership, and Faith Programs at RespectAbility, introduced our brand-new Jewish Disability Inclusion Toolkit, which will help you succeed in creating an inclusive and accessible Jewish community.
