Jackie Todd

Jackie Todd is a sci-fi fantasy writer based in LA. She is a former contortionist and vaudevillian who always brings a touch of the surreal to her scripts that center around sibling dynamics and the emotional and physical toll of living with chronic illness, disability, and trauma. She is currently a participant in the RespectAbility Lab for summer 2022. She has recently completed her MFA at Columbia University and has a background in production, streaming, and VFX.

Originally from Chicago, she has a background in documentary film, has workshopped projects with Kartemquin Films, and produced documentaries for the University of Chicago. Her work has been featured by the Washington Post, National Geographic, and Wired. She pivoted her work live streaming, producing events across the globe for clients including Marketo, VMware, and Autodesk. While her career as a live streaming event producer went on hiatus for her MFA in 2018, she continues streaming on Twitch and consulting with small companies looking to produce their own live streaming and social video content.
