Stacy Cervenka, Senior Director, Policy
Stacy Cervenka is the Senior Director, Policy, at RespectAbility, a nonprofit organization fighting stigmas and advancing opportunities so people with disabilities can fully participate in all aspects of community.
Stacy works with Congressional offices, federal agencies, state legislatures, and other disability rights organizations to create policies that provide equitable opportunities to people with disabilities in education, the workforce, civic engagement, and all areas of community life.
Stacy worked previously as a Legislative Assistant to US Senator Sam Brownback, as a government program analyst for the California Department of Rehabilitation, as the Executive Officer of the California State Rehabilitation Council, and as the Director of Public Policy for the American Foundation for the Blind. She is passionate about eliminating barriers disabled people face to the workforce, education, and transportation.
Stacy is located in Nebraska and enjoys traveling, volunteering, and competing in adult figure skating.
