Tatiana Martin, Associate, Development and Individual Giving

Tatiana Martin
Tatiana Martin (she/her) is the Associate, Development and Individual Giving, at the disability advocacy nonprofit organization Disability Belongs™.
From a young age, Martin discovered a passion for philanthropy and helping others, learning through adversity the importance of resilience, empathy, and community support. Over the course of her career, she has worked within the private and nonprofit sectors, cultivating a strong passion for building human connections, providing exceptional customer service, and developing partnerships that create mutual value and lasting impact.
Martin studied Public Administration and Nonprofit Management at the University of Central Florida, where she also participated in the Community Investment Student Apprenticeship through the Central Florida Foundation. Through this program, she helped allocate funding to a local nonprofit based on grant presentations and community needs. She has worked alongside organizations such as the Foundation for Foster Children, Habitat for Humanity, Harry P. Leu Gardens, and the American Cancer Society. Prior to joining Disability Belongs™, she served as the Program & Marketing Manager at the Florida Emergency Medicine Foundation, where she created and maintained partnerships to advocate for emergency medicine physicians, EMS personnel, and their patients.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with family and friends, cooking healthy meals, practicing mindfulness, and spending time in her garden — preferably with a great cup of coffee in hand. She is also a proud cat aunt to her nephew and niece, Bleu and Toast, who are regularly spoiled with love and treats.
