Adam Fishbein, MPA is a lifelong self-advocate and a dedicated disability policy professional. Fishbein currently serves as a policy advisor at the U.S. Department of Labor in the Office of Disability Employment Policy and as vice president of the Pennsylvania Tourette Syndrome Alliance (PA-TSA) Board of Directors.
Fishbein was a Community Outreach Fellow in RespectAbility’s National Leadership Program in 2019 and a Public Policy and Employment Fellow in 2017. More recently, Fishbein has remained involved in RespectAbility’s work on a consulting basis, assisting with RespectAbility’s 2020 State Voter Guides.
Fishbein’s other professional experience includes a year-long internship at the National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy, serving as a Senate Diversity Initiative Intern for U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer and a policy internship at NCLD through the American Association of People with Disabilities Summer Internship Program.
Originally from the Philadelphia suburbs, Fishbein moved to Washington, DC in 2016 to attend American University (AU). Fishbein currently lives in DC and continues to work towards a better future for people with disabilities.
