Alex Cottle

Alex Cottle is a queer, neurodivergent writer and producer with a love for all things comedy. She executive produced The Society for Paranormal Healing (2022), a short film awarded Best Picture, Austin Comedy Film Festival and Best Long-form Short Film, Los Angeles Comedy Film & Screenplay Festival. She created the Audible Original series “The Introvert’s Survival Guide,” which was an Audible “Best of Wellness” series in 2023. She has a BA in Film from Seattle University and an MBA focused on Entertainment Management from UCLA. Previously, Alex has worked at Universal Television, Fresh Produce Media, and Seeso. Alex lives in Los Angeles with her fiancée and their cat, Burnsie.

Chanthen Nene is a rising filmmaker, recent film school graduate, and an avid advocate for low vision/blind individuals in the film industry. He helped create several short films and is the host of his own YouTube cooking channel.

Two Virginia Governors appointed Nene to the Virginia State Rehabilitation Council, which promotes the well-being of individuals with disabilities. He was also a mentor to people with various disabilities, ranging from those with autism to completely blind individuals. [continue reading…]

Charlie T. Savage

Charlie T. Savage is a Navy veteran, screenwriter, producer, and founder of Charlie Bit Me Joints LLC, where she creates thrilling and hilarious content that unapologetically highlights the Black female experience. A New Orleans native, she is passionate about inclusive storytelling, focusing on LGBTQIA+ communities, people of color, and women. She plays a key role in the California Film Commission, serving as the Soundstage Program Assistant and leading the Career Pathways Program, fostering the growth of film and TV production to keep creativity in California. A member of Veterans in Media & Entertainment (VME), she also advocates for U.S. military veterans transitioning into media careers. Charlie’s industry recognition includes fellowships with Collective 5 Entertainment’s Showrunner’s Mentorship Academy and the Writers Guild Foundation Veterans Project. She has most recently become involved with the NAACP and has been named a Top 10 Finalist in Ms. Veteran America for her work supporting homeless women veterans and their children. Charlie has received a Dunkin’ Donuts Community Hero Award in Washington, D.C. and was also selected to participate in the United State of Women, founded by the Obama Administration. Currently, Charlie is competing for Ms. Black California 2026, using the platform to promote creative writing and artistic expression as essential tools for personal and professional growth among women of color. With a postgraduate degree in management and an undergrad in journalism and mass communications, she blends creative vision with strategic expertise. Charlie is dedicated to using her voice and leadership to uplift underrepresented communities to ensure diverse stories are celebrated on every screen.

Ana Defillo is a Dominican-American writer, producer, & not a comedian. She escaped her conservative, working-class upbringing through the glow of her beloved 13-inch TV/VCR Combo.
