Connor Roach
Connor Roach (They/Them) is a filmmaker, access worker, and former healthcare worker providing direct support to disabled individuals for over a decade. They produced accessible events at Lincoln Center’s Summer for the City and founded Cuéntame, a multimedia organization disrupting mainstream narratives of disability. Through Cuéntame, Connor has produced impactful documentaries and photo essays, including the widely distributed Exploring the Impacts of Ableism: A COVID-19 Photo Essay Series. They are currently working on a film exploring the world of disabled and queer nightlife leaders, blending narrative storytelling with immersive stage design to reimagine accessibility in nightlife culture. They are the Program Operations and Accessibility Manager at ReelAbilities International.
