Rikki Bleiweiss

Rikki Bleiweiss (she/they) is a comedy writer and evil genius from Texas currently based out of Los Angeles. Rikki is neurodivergent, and a lifetime of learning the “script” of human interaction let her develop a voice that reveals the absurdity behind elements of life that seem so natural. Her goal is to write dark comedies that speak satire to power and expose that none of us are normal.

She’s been a teacher, debate coach, Ikea furniture assembly associate, coupon writer, summer camp administrator, novel editor, author of helicopter safety manuals, had a brief stint as a popular Twitter comedian, and met a few witches, anarchists, and celebrities along the way.

Bleiweiss is a Disney Fellowship semifinalist, a Slamdance winner, and a finalist for Austin Film Festival’s pitch competition. She holds an MFA in Screenwriting from UT-Austin.
