Eric Ascher joined RespectAbility because he knows that people with disabilities are capable of doing great work, just like everyone else. A graduate from Goucher College, he has experience with website design, video editing, writing blog posts and research projects.
Cara Liebowitz managed RespectAbility’s Facebook page and contributed to its Twitter account. She holds a Master’s Degree in Disability Studies from the CUNY School of Professional Studies.
Bonni Berger worked as an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Specialist in the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. She holds a Masters Degree in Linguistics.
Ming Canaday pursued a certificate at the City University of New York in Disability Studies to better advocate for individuals with disabilities. She interned at Justice for All, a disability advocacy organization in China.
Fighting stigmas around people with cognitive and physical differences is of the utmost importance to David Richman. He attained his Bachelors of Arts in English at The University of Maryland-College Park.
