Cypher

Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. Cypher is an Indie Writer, Director, and Creator. Cypher is the Founder of Shy Tales Productions with a debut supernatural crime thriller fiction podcast “Horror Remnants” released in February 2024. The podcast was developed for a 100 episode run, and Cypher produced and created all pre-production through post-production and distribution.

Shy Tales is a solopreneur venture in its year zero phase. With the goal of creating new multi-genre IP at its core, Shy Tales aims to produce content for fiction podcasts, webtoons & manhua, animation, and live-action films. Alongside her independent ventures, Cypher consults for filmmakers, writers, and animators on various projects, assisting with recruitment of talent and discussions of marketing strategies.

Cypher’s adventurous career began in 2009 in Boston in commercial animation. Cypher then was a science film and animation production editor working on scientific publications, and also a freelance colorist for indie webcomics.

In 2018, she progressed into entertainment focused on TV animation, where Cypher was credited as a character animator and 2D FX animator and artist on the following shows:

  • “Corn and Peg”
  • “Hero Elementary”
  • “Brogan: Master of Castles”
  • “Solar Opposites” Season 2
  • “Rick and Morty” Season 5.

In 2021, Cypher retired from animation in pursuit of expanding creative experiences across film & commercial. Her explorations led to an affinity for creatives, project management, and commitment to storytelling, conceptualizing an idea which is now Shy Tales Productions.
