Jade Gingerich, Director of Employment Policy, Maryland Department of Disabilities
Since being founded in 2013, RespectAbility has been dedicated to analyzing and tracking best practices for improving educational and employment outcomes for youth with disabilities nation-wide. One of the most exciting efforts to improve those outcomes has been the Promoting Readiness of Minors in Supplemental Security Income (PROMISE) project funded by the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services. The PROMISE grant has achieved remarkable results in the lives of diverse, low-income children with disabilities receiving SSI and their families.
Please join us on Wednesday, July 10th for a dynamic discussion with one of the key state leaders responsible for the various successes and lessons from the PROMISE Grant program. Jade Gingerich, the Director of Employment Policy at the Maryland Department of Disabilities, is a key leader who has many lessons to offer professionals committed to improving the lives of Americans with disabilities. We look forward to hosting you for the fun and informative webinar!
