Jill Crosser, Executive Director, Iowa Able Foundation
This webinar looks at innovative solutions to address poverty and financial insecurity in the disability community. People with disabilities are the poorest of the poor, with 28.5 percent experiencing poverty, higher than any other minority community. Iowa’s Able Foundation is turning to micro-loans and financial coaching to “empower Iowans with disabilities, their families and the aging.”
Speaker Bio: Jill Crosser is the Executive Director of the Iowa Able Foundation. Prior to joining the Iowa Able team, she worked as a Neuro Resource Facilitator with the Brain Injury Alliance of Iowa and has experience with Case Management with the Elderly Waiver worked with Job Placement as well. Jill received her undergraduate degree in Family Services, Criminology & Women’s Studies from the University of Northern Iowa and her Master’s work was completed at Drake University in Rehabilitation Administration.
