National Leadership Program, Spring/Summer 2016
Max Spain was a Policy Apprentice with RespectAbility, where he was part of a team creating responses to all 50 states on their individual WIOA plans. In addition, he spent a week on Capitol Hill reaching out to Hill staff on the importance of implementing WIOA properly.
Before joining RespectAbility, Spain interned at a law office where he focused on the rights of the elderly. He is currently finishing his undergraduate degree in government at Cornell University. Spain is passionate about making a difference and hopes to do so in the future as a lawyer.
