National Leadership Program, Fall/Winter 2015
Thomas Coombs was a Public Policy and Practices Apprentice with RespectAbility during Fall 2015. He worked to ensure policies such as the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) are effectively used to empower people with disabilities. He also is a Second Lieutenant in the Virginia National Guard, where he serves as a platoon leader in the 189th Engineering (MRBC) Company. Coombs holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Florida. He plans on attending law school in the fall of 2016.
