Matthew Ross

Matthew Ross was a Nonprofit Management Fellow with RespectAbility during the summer of 2015. He researched information for potential grants and edited proposals. He developed content and edited captions for RespectAbility’s Global Giving page for the September Open Challenge.

In addition, Ross researched and developed content for a press release about the leading states in terms of percent of individuals with disabilities who are employed and developed content for a disability resource toolkit for various synagogues to use in accommodating and including individuals with disabilities in High Holiday services. Ross also leafleted on Capitol Hill, furnishing materials to staff of numerous Representatives about the 25th Anniversary of the ADA and encouraging them to make statements about this milestone.

Ross has a master’s degree in language and communications from Georgetown University and a master’s degree in speech-language pathology from UNC Chapel Hill. After his time with RespectAbility, Ross began working as a proposal specialist for Intelligent Decisions.

Eric Ascher

Eric Ascher is the Communications Associate for RespectAbility. He is responsible for supporting RespectAbility’s Vice President, Communications in developing and implementing advocacy efforts and communications of various types. Ascher manages RespectAbility’s social media channels, website and emails; organizes and develops webinars; and supervises Communications Fellows.
